TESL REUNION 2011 (Peninsular Chapter)

It's already May and the school holidays are nearing. After much thought and discussion, we came up with a watered-down itinerary. Admittedly, it's harder to coordinate and herd all of us, working adults, like herding sheeps, so a very basic plan for the reunion was devised. Details:

DATE: June 4, 2011, Saturday (Updated)
Rationale: Initially later dates were suggested to avoid Gawai/ Kaamatan but since celebrating Borneo friends show cooler response, June 4 is ok then since Peninsular friends have no prob with it. Initially June 2 (Thursday, working weekday) was considered to avoid the weekend crowd but since some non-teacher friends have to work, so weekend is more suitable.

Those who are coming, must be in KL before June 4 or June 4 morning. June 4 is the MEETING DAY. Check in hotel in the afternoon, then we go Midvalley for the reunion lunch/dinner. June 5 it's up to you to extend your stay,  or check out and leave KL =)

ACCOMODATION: MyHotel, KL Sentral OR own accommodation
Rationale: This hotel is a budget hotel just a stone's throw away from KL Central station and KL central monorail. The promotion room rate for weekends:

1: for TWIN ROOM (two single beds. fit 2 person) is RM118 per night (Weekend rate. Tax & Service charge included). Shared by two person will be RM59 per person.

2: for TRIPLE ROOM ( 1 double bed + 1 single bed. fit 3 person) is RM 160 per nite. (weekend rate. Tacx & Service charge included). Shared by three person will be RM53.33 per person.

Central location, clean and comfortable.

Once we get the final list of those coming and staying in the hotel, we will proceed with hotel reservation, via credit card or cash. Please inform me if you wanna stay at the hotel.

ITINERARY
After checking in at the hotel 2PM, we all met up at KL central station, to take the LRT-BUS or KTM commuter to MIDVALLEY. Those with car can go Midvalley on their own.  We will meet up at Pastis Cafe at THE GARDENS MALL (eating place can still be changed later). After makan and chatting, we're free to walk walk at The Gardens and Midvalley megamall or head back to the city. Movie perhaps at GSC?

Then, the rest of the evening and the day after, you are free to pursue your own plans. Check out the next morning 12pm!

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW:
1. Let me know ASAP if u can make it on that day JUNE 4. This date is already FIXED but we still can consider if change need to be made to the meeting date...

2. Let me know if you wanna stay in the Hotel. I need to know this to ease reservation and arrange who wanna share room with who.
